There is a critical need to educate and upskill around birth trauma. Not only is birth trauma preventable in many cases, but for those who do suffer it is often poorly diagnosed and treated. We are experts at providing clinically-led training to organisations and individuals covering all they need to learn about birth trauma, as well as vicarious trauma in professionals. Our aim is provide something for everyone - from free resources through to bespoke training designed to meet your exact needs. Applying trauma-informed care frameworks to maternity and perinatal services : Instant access training

Half-day specialised training to deeply understand what we mean by "trauma-informed care". Discuss best practice for applying trauma-informed care principles to maternity and perinatal services and review what can be done at a practical and political level. Birth Reflections Workshop 1: Setting Up Supportive Spaces

Monday 9th February, 9.30am-12.30pm. On Zoom. With Perinatal Psychiatrist Dr Rebecca Moore and Psychotherapist Natasha Williams. This practical workshop explores how to create and run safe, effective Birth Reflections sessions. We’ll cover service set-up, preparation, boundaries and documentation, plus trauma-informed listening, managing emotions, and knowing when and where to signpost. 6 month access to recording.

Birth Reflections Workshop 2: Providing helpful debriefs and supportive conversations

Tuesday 17th March, 9.30am-12.30pm on Zoom. With midwife and debrief expert Illiyin Morrison. This workshop builds confidence in supportive birth debrief conversations, formal or informal. Midwives and maternity HCPs will explore purpose and limits, validating without re-traumatising, balancing accuracy with sensitivity, and offering clear next steps so parents feel heard and supported. 6 month access to recording.

Birth Trauma Training Programme: Instant Access 2025

Our Birth Trauma Training Programme is designed for any professional looking to upskill around birth trauma, the cost of caring and trauma-informed ways of working. There are 5 modules of online learning each lasting up to 1.5 hours each, with slides, worksheets and a quiz. CPD certified for 7 training hours. This was recorded in October 2024. In this webinar, Dr Rebecca Moore explores the research into birth debriefing, unpacking what works, what doesn’t, and what truly supports parents after birth.
