Georgia-Mae Forster is a third year Trainee Clinical Psychologist, due to qualify this September. She has completed her training at the University of Nottingham/Lincoln, whilst completing clinical placements within the NHS. Whilst training, she has developed a particular interest in birth debriefs, completing both a systematic literature review and her thesis (due to be presented today) in this area.
Dr Jenna Brough is a Perinatal Clinical Psychologist specialising in perinatal trauma, pregnancy after loss and infertility, and compassionate psychological care within maternity services. Following over a decade of experience in the NHS she now works independently offering therapy, alongside training, supervision, research and consultancy.
She has a particular interest in how we can better provide care and support that is both compassionate and psychologically informed to reduce and prevent perinatal mental health difficulties.
Jenna was the field supervisor for the doctoral research that led to the development of the birth debrief guidelines Georgia will be introducing us to today.
This research has also been co-authored by Dr Danielle De Boos and Dr Heather Cogger-Ward.
